Plowman, Dig My Earth

I have tried to keep up my goal of posting at least once a week. It became especially challenging when a 5-ton salt truck with a snow plow blade ran off the road in my cul-de-sac, sheared off my cable connection and buried itself in the front yard.

It took two skid loaders and over two hours to free the truck, but it finally got unstuck. This was on Wednesday, Feb 10, right in the middle of a blizzard in southeastern PA. Comcast, my cable provider, was out the next day to restore the connection – pretty good service, considering the conditions.

So the Iranian people voted, and it looks like the outcome of their votes were not correctly recorded. From some news reports, it would appear that many voted for Moussavi as opposed to Ahmadinejad, but the election was rigged. My prayer this week has been for the Persians themselves, the Iranian people, that they would have justice and fairness, and that their voices would be heard.

OK, here’s the second blogger you should must read: ALa, from Philadelphia. Her blog is Blonde Sagacity.  She is a Conservative blogger with a very large following nationwide. I stumbled upon her blog over two years ago, and have been a regular reader ever since. The topics range from mostly politics, to humor, life, love, and other stuff. One of the best parts of her blog (besides the writing, of course) is the commenter community.
